Daryl Hagler Encourages Donating to the Hatzolah Air Campaign

Hatzola Air is an amazing non-profit organization, providing emergency medical air transport. With over 200 volunteer flight physicians, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers and case managers, the Hatzalah Air team is available 24/7 for emergency intervention and assistance.

Hatzolah was founded in the US in 1969, with the simple goal of helping community members. Since then, it has expanded into a global operation with chapters in every Jewish city in North and South America, Europe, Israel, Australia and South Africa. As one of Hatzolah’s donors, I, Daryl Hagler, understood the organization’s leadership when they explained the growing need for emergency air transport to complement the Hatzolah Ambulance chapters. They worked to build Hatzolah Air and, in 2019, Hatzolah Air flew its first mission.

The life-saving service provided by these volunteers is truly phenomenal. It is so important to contribute to the Buy a Letter campaign; this is a unique campaign — not only does it continue to fund Hatzolah’s unparalleled emergency services, it gives donors the opportunity to contribute to a second mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah.” Donations begin at $18 a letter.
